Model DCM1012 Digital Contact Monitor is a 10 channel instrument
designed to meet the requirements of MIL-STD-202, Method 310
Par. 2.1.2, test conditions A,B,C,D,and E.
The unit incorporates many new features to expand on the basic
specifications to allow for additional test times and operating mode for each input. The normal configuration will accommodate up to 10
form C (SPDT) break before make contacts for Standard Chatter
Monitor testing. Each input channel may be selected for either a Form A (normally open, or Form B (normally closed) set of contacts.
This feature doubles the amount of active channels to 20.
All timing is based on (2) 10MHz crystal clocks for accuracy and the
elimination of any RC time constants. No adjustments are required
or provided. This feature allows for different test times for the N.C.
and N.O. contacts.
The mechanical design allows for expansion to external chassis for
testing of DC voltages, DC current and resistance. Various input
cards are available as options to meet most test requirements.
